[Harc] Reminder- Portable HF Show and Tell Day, Sunday, May 16- Do Not Reply

Hello All,  Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is the  Portable HF Show and Tell Day.  All are welcome to "deploy" their HF station for a test run and chance to show it off.  The location will have grass, so stakes can be used but practice your Non Stake Deployment if possible.  At 1000, using the Muni/HARC repeater, I will reveal the coordinates of the event location using Decimal Degree format.  For the sake of resilience, try and discern the location without using the internet.  If using a smart phone app such as GAIA or MOTION X, I suggest turning on the airplane mode first, then loading in the coordinates.  This will show you if your app is indeed stand alone from the internet for times of need.  Okay, enough Prepper madness.  Please come and join us.  There will be at least 4 completely different approaches to HF portable to see.  If you are setting up and digital capable, please be prepared for some Winlink and P2P practice.
