I already sent this message to previous years' volunteers.  In case there
are hams who have not participated before, here's an open invitation to
join the crew.  Please reply to me if you'd like to help out.

Of course, we need VHF communicators for the entire weekend.  You can work
one or two days, or all three if you want.  If you volunteered before and
want your previous location again please let me know.  The Bay crossing on
day 2 has racers entering at the Wharfinger and exiting under Samoa Bridge.

As last year, we all need to sign up at the official KGC site and agree to
the Code of Conduct at
https://kineticgrandchampionship.app.neoncrm.com/forms/23.  I found it
quick and painless.  The main KGC website where you can get the maps, rules
and other info is https://kineticgrandchampionship.com/racers.

If you have any questions please let me know.  As usual, we'll have a
pre-race meeting on Thursday, May 22 at 7 pm for a briefing and to
distribute badges, parking passes, etc. (location TBD).

Following our working group meeting at David's, I have reconfigured my 
rooftop device to act as /router/.
We hope this improves the connectivity of our local devices, but there's 
always a chance that it will make it worse for some.
Please let me know if you notice/observe any changes in how well the 
local mesh works for you.
