(Please forward this message to your non-ARRL member friends)
Greetings to all via Amateur Radio on this Memorial Day
I want take a moment to recognize our many veterans both in and out of
Amateur Radio and especially those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for
our Country. I hope you and your loved ones feel honored and
appreciated today and every day and we Thank You for your service.
I also want to thank all our emergency responders and especially you
Amateur Radio volunteers who continue year after year to support of your
local and state public safety agencies in times of need. I know that at
times our role feels thankless, unappreciated and sometimes even
unnecessary. I promise you that you are appreciated, your contributions
both during the smallest of events to the largest of disasters are
necessary and noticed. In further support of that statement today, I
give you The Hon. Senartor Ted Cruz....

Enjoy this special day. As my good friend, ARRL Emergency Management
Director Josh Johnston said... "...there is more to the day than grillin
and chillin." (Director's Note: He is right... There is POTA, SOTA,
remote radio, Public Service Events, chasing DX, and just getting on the
air and having a great rag chew).
73 to all,
John NZ6Q
