[Harc] WWV turns 100 this year

WWV is still on the air*, and will celebrate its centennial this year with a NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) ceremony on October 1, 2019.

For those interested, The Northern Colorado Amateur Radio Club and the WWV Amateur Radio Club will have a special event** station set up from September 28 through October 2, 2019.  The call sign WW0WWV will be used for the activity including a GOTA station.
That's WW-Zero-WWV,
NOT WW-Oscar-WWV.

*To the relief of many, WWV, WWVB and WWVH were recommended for defunding in the NIST's fiscal year 2019, but this recommendation was dropped in the final budget.
