Hello John.

If you can get one, the Kenwood TM V-71 is used by quite a few in HARC,
as well as in the HARC trailer.  

I'd go for an Ed Fong j-pole which you should be able to mount
easily, since it is basically a straight stick with the wire coming
out the bottom rather than a wire coming out of the middle like you
have to deal with in the case of a dipole.  

Have you seen the HARC trailer?

Perhaps I should have started by asking if there is a budget for this,
or will that detail be filled after you know what you
want?
