Jaye, et al... The BOSLEY Butte repeater has awoken, now three months
comotose, with a repeating noise. Not much to be done. Bosley was
acquired by hostile takeover a couple years ago by a repeater-collector
living 100mi north of Curry Co. Bosley is the highest repeater in Curry
and covers most of the coast. Now, it can be off the air for months at
a time. It's a lick on Curry Co, for sure, but nothing can be done
about it today. The takeover was enabled by the then Trustee who owned
the equipment. Bosley has been the County emergency repeater since b4 I
was licensed in '91. Bosley will be up whenever the owner feels like
driving over to Curry to see what's up. 73 Doug K7KY
